A Place to Learn, Experience, and Protect Owls
The Owl Conservation Center Nepal is a proposed learning, research, and conservation hub dedicated to protecting owls and promoting awareness about their importance in nature. It can be developed as a physical, digital, or hybrid center where people of all ages can explore, learn, and connect with owls.
The center will include:
🦉 Owl Museum & Learning Center — Displays, specimens, and educational materials about owl species, behavior, and ecology.
📚 Library & Research Center — Books, field guides, research resources, and space for conservation studies.
🎥 Audio-Visual & Exhibition Hall — Owl calls, videos, interactive exhibits, and conservation stories.
📸 Owl Experience Zone — Safe and ethical owl-themed visitor experiences.
🎓 Training & Capacity Building Center — Conservation training for students, communities, and wildlife enthusiasts.
🏥 Owl Rescue and Rehabilitation Center — Care and recovery support for injured owls.
🎉 Permanent Nepal Owl Festival Site — A venue to celebrate owls, biodiversity, and conservation.
🧒 Children’s Nature Play Area — Inspiring young minds to love and protect wildlife.
The center will be located in an easily accessible area connected by road and surrounded by natural beauty, creating a destination for families, students, tourists, researchers, and nature lovers.
Our vision is to create a place where education, conservation, research, and community participation come together to protect Nepal’s owls and biodiversity.
