Wildlife research techniques training was initiated with an intention of providing basic wildlife research knowledge, both theory and field based, to students of B.Sc and M.Sc. The training program is organized annually since 2012. This is the first of its kind in the country. Approximately 50 % of the trainees are working in the wildlife research and conservation field, with some doing outstanding work in the field.
